Bottle at the One World Lounge - Frankfurt airport. Pours crystal clear yellow-gold with a frothy white head. Dry, crispy grain and cereal in the bose. Light to medium sweet flavor with pale bread, further grains, cereal, hints of metal and hay. Light in body with average carbonation. Fairly crisp on the finish with basic lager malts, grain, metal, faint alcohol and ripe lemon, cery mellow floral hop bitterness. Fair.

Flasche (50 cl) aus einem Getränkemarkt in Kassel. - Strohgelb, blank.

(Keg at InterTank, Berlin, 20140421) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, grass, malts, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A clean and sweet pils that was easy to drink but offered nothing worth remembering.

330 bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is bready with some spice/grass. Near med body. Flavor is bready with very little hop - which seems to be more spice than anything - so little it’s hard to tell.

Bottle from BeerGeek. Pours light gold with a huge frothy white head. Aroma of pale malt and mildly grassy hop. Medium minus body with mild, but sharp, carbonation. Flavor is pale malt with grassy hop. Not all that strong in flavor, but it’s bitter, it’s clean, and it’s drinkable.

500ml bottle. Clear pale yellowish golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, white head. Bitter hoppy aroma, decent grainy undertones. Taste is dry, bitter hoppy with pale malty undertones, typical mainstream mediocre standard German Pilsener.

Bottle: Clear, pale greenish-golden, stable foamy white layer, grassy-hoppy nose with some grains in the background; astonishing sweetness in the quite dry bitter flavour, light bodied and pretty soft; short bitter-sweet finish. Not good, but far better than expected…

Catch up rating from notes, 2012: 500 ml Bottle picked up in Giessen area. Pours out out a clear, pale golden, with nice frothy head. Aroma is sweet malts with a bit of hoppy character. Taste is more of the grains, mildly sweet with a beautiful hops bite at the finish. Classic pils, and a tasty one to boot.
