Gageleer Original is a golden colored beer that forms a perfectly beautiful white foam collar in a gageleer glass. It is brewed with honest organic ingredients: the finest barley malt, partly from local Campine organic farmers, and bog myrtle from De Liereman (a nature preserve in the Campine village of Oud‐Turnhout), without additives or preservatives.

Cloudy blonde beer. Big frothy head. Vanilla aroma. Eased down herbal flavor with vanilla and lychee. Hint of metal. Herbal bitter finish.

Bottle at home. Pale yellow color, white head. Not much aroma. Taste is good, a nice blond beer.

Pours clear golden with a big, foamy, white head. Aroma of bog myrtle, cheese, yeast, breadcrust, tea leaves, artisan honey, yellow apple, apricot. Taste is light fruity sweet, notes of apple, apricot & pineapple, turning medium spicy bitter with bog myrtle, pepper & grass dominant, sourish wheat accent underneath. Dry, grassy hoppy finish, quite spicy, ripe fruit, bitter & almost metallic, astringent. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Good spiced beer but the finish is off unfortunately. First tasted at Het Spijker, Ghent. 7/4/6/3/11=3.1.

Flesje gedronken bij d’n Bock. Beetje troebel goudgeel bier met oranje gloed. Aroma en smaak is kruidig en fruitig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Aroma: Floral sweet with yeast. Flavour: Fairly strong gale flavour with floral sweetness and notes of elderflower and honey. A fairly dry bitter finish. Colour: Amber with an offwhite head. From: Pandekagehuset Kvie Sø May 2016
