Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque, dark brown with a small, creamy, beige head. Dusty, roasty, toasty nose with a touch of molasses sweetness. Medium body, more of the above paired with notes of sweet licorice. Pleasant. 080326

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.2%. Dark reddish brown colour, small off-white to beige head. Aroma of malts, caramel and brittle, Christmas spices and some citrus in the back ground. The flavour has also notes of caramel and brittle, but is not too sweet. Moderate spicy notes, a hint of citrussy fruitiness. The bitterness is moderate.

330ml bottle, 6.2 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Coal black in the glass. Remaining beige head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Promising aromas of roasted malt and dark bread. Dark malt-driven taste with impacts of brittle caramel and a backdrop of spices. Roasted malty finish. Fine depth. Decent Yuletide brew. (Shared with Ingalill on Christmas Eve, 24.12.2018).

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Drukket på Lillehøgda. Ultradyprød. Filmskum med litt farge. Forsiktig maltaroma. Smaken karamell lett tørr avslutning.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 8 Dec 2017) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark bread, dried fruit, raisins and prunes. Malty, roasted taste with dark bread, dried fruit, liquorice, anise and a fairly dry finish with a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with an interesting liquorice touch. Quite nice.
