Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 13B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown (BBF 12/2017) AROMA: medium malt aroma with a slight sweet background and notes of dark toffee and faint dried plums. APPEARANCE: brown color and clear. medium ivory head with good retention. TASTE: medium malt flavor with a medium-low sweet character. notes of toffee and toasty. slight nutty notes. medium-low bitterness with an almost dry and slightly roasted finish. faint yeast flavor. PALATE: medium-light body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an average brown ale.

330ml bottle, 5.6 % abv, bought at Habemus Birra Alicante. Hazy red-brown body. Spotty lacing from a low, bubbly, fawn-coloured head.Dried fruity nose joined by malty sweetness. Mid-sweet flavours of prunes, apricot and caramel. Mid-sweet fruity ending. Medium bodied. Pretty nice (shared with Esben at their place in Vila Joiosa, 04.06.2016).

Bottled. Hazy copper colour, mid sized head. Fruity nose with paper and cocoa powder. Sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Shallow and artificial with Floris style artificial chocolate flavour. Low bitterness. Eh.

Distinct aroma of dark berries, sherry. Copper color, unfiltered, little foam. A very nice brown ale with a strong touch of sherry (barrels). Bottle bought at Habemus Birra in Alicante/Spain.
