Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and herbs. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, bread, and herbs, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle@Taphouse Tuesday Bottle Share, Copenhagen - Dark brown verging black pour with tan head. Roasted malty aroma and taste, notes of cocoa, coffee, burnt malty notes, earthy burnt, roasted malty finish.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted, breadish and toasted malt. Roasted, breadish and toasted malty. Breadish, roasted and toasted dark malty finish.

Flaske, hjemme: brunsvart med fint beigs skum som varer. Fin aroma av røstet malt og franskbrente espressobønner. I smaken finner jeg også en liten syrlighet - kan det være appelsinskallene som er tilsatt? Iflg etiketten er den krydret med appelsinskal og vaniljestang. Fint avrundet bitterhet i ettersmaken hvor også appelsinene er diskret til stede. Passe tørr avslutning. En god og lettdrikkelig stout, særlig med tanke på at vitamininnholdet er tilpasset dagligvarehandelen.

Flaske 500ml spandert av Rune. Delt med ham og Skinnyviking på Nerstranda 14 Jan 15. Kullsort. Høyt luftig mokkafarget skum. Bra sjokoladearoma. Smaken lakris & sjokolade. Blir litt tørr etter hvert. Bra - men litt for mye kullsyre.

500ml bottle provided by djoeye. Crocheted lacing from a huge, espresso coloured head. Deep dark brown coloured body. Roasted brown and black malts on the nose. Rather comprehensive flavours of coffee, dark chocolate and mid-sweet liquorice. Weak hints of sulphur. Soft in the mouth. Not bad at all (shared with Skinnyviking and Finn, Tromsø 14.01.2015).
