(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 2 Oct 2015) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, toffee and dried fruit. Malty taste with caramel, treacle-toffee, black-currant, hints of smoke and a gentle bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Appearance: Clear dark golden colour with a white head.
Aroma: Malt, caramel, fruit.

Sample at SBWF 2015. Clear copper with a medium head. Aroma and taste of light roaste malt, caramel, light fruit and some hay. The body was medium as was the bitterness.

Bottle at SBWF 2015, second weekend.Clear dark copper to brown color, tan head. Toasted, bread crust scent. Malty, toasted, light of berries taste. Malty, fruity aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium low bitterness.

Cask @ Bishops Arms Gustav, Malmö. Pours a clear ruby amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramelfflavor with weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

500ml Bottle - Dark amber in colour. Fruity aroma with notes of fruitcake, raisins and marzipan. Fruity and slightly roasted taste with notes of raisins, blackcurrant, nuts and marzipan. Enjoyable and nicely balanced.

Fat på Bishop Gustav. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, röda bär, torkad frukt med toner av aska och läder. Lagom söt, lätt kolsyrad, tydlig beska med smak av grapefrukt.

Bottle at Ångbåtsfestival Eriksberg 2014-09-27 Göteborg AR: caramel, roasted malt, brown sugar AP: mahogny clear, wee frothy transparent white head F: caramel malt, brown sugar, roasted malt, heavy sugary!
