Bottled at Bishops Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Cloudy golden, rich head. Soapy, zesty nose with some coriander. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Citrus, coriander and wheat bun dough. Mid bitter finish.

Tap at Sidedoor. Filtered orange body. Thin off-white head. Bold new school hop tones. A very nice wheat IPA, doesn’t really have the creamy body of a Wit. Enjoyable. Has that spicy yeast feel of an American Saison at times. One the better balanced, though hop forward, examples of the style. Really good, well executed.

65 cl bottle @ lusikka, BBE(?) 04.12.2014
Aroma is somewhat soapy with apricot and mellow grassy tones. Also grapefruit. Flavour has grapefruit, some grassy tones, minerals and apricot. Finishes with sweet fruity tones typical to American ales. Aftertaste has some biscuits. Feels like a well-hopped saison. Refreshing and nice.

650ml bottle from Saveur-Biere
BBE 12/04/14 - Pours orange with a thick white head. Aroma of tart fruits, juicy and soapy notes, hops, citrus, pine and grass. Taste is hoppy, slightly tart and juicy fruity with some wheaty yeastiness, grass, citrus, pine, floral and herbal notes. Finish is juicy fruity, hoppy and slightly tart with some wheaty notes, bitterness and citrus. Nice and bitter white IPA, even though it’s not super fresh anymore.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, dark straw colour. Thin, dense, lasting, sticky, white head. Chewy, sweet, bready, toasty malts. The hops come across dank and fruity. Not necessarily vibrant, but I’m liking the piny, resinous, heavy on the Simcoe thing going on. Taste is toffee sweet, turning pithy bitter, and finishing woody, grassy dry. Full, but fresh, on the palate. Some hop greasiness. Finishes long, orange zest, pithy bitter. Lovely, fragrant, tasty IPA.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white frothy head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Dusty yeast, caramel and tropical fruit aromas. Medium bodied with sweet yeast and dried fruit upfront turning to hot pineapple before the bitter pith finish.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Superstar-Huntington, 10/5/14
Aroma: The aroma is citrus hops/zest, orange peel, pepper/spice, and a bit of wheat as well
Appearance: It pours a murky gold-orange color with a thick, long lasting froth of off-white head
Flavor: Taste-wise, the citrus rind shines, lots of orange, a bit of pepper, and a light, wheaty sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, but feels full for the style, with average-plus carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a surprisingly bitter example of a White IPA. The citrus rind bitterness completely overpowers the wheaty sweetness, not in a bad way, but definitely in an "I'm here, notice me!" kind of way. Pour-wise, it has one of the longer lasting heads I can recall on a beer. It is clearly another winner from the Hop Odyssey series. I'm a fan for sure.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of spice, some citrus peels and some hops. Sweetish flavor with wheat, malt, a bit of fruitiness, some spiciness, some fruity hops and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Quite nice.
