Flaske fra Systembolaget Visby, på terassen i Tingstäde: uklar nøttebrun med svært kort skum. Som de fleste andre jeg nå har prøvd fra Barlingbo denne sommeren oppleves den underkarbonert, og igjen den underlige smaken av gjær, høy, halm og visne urter som jeg har erfart i flere av de andre. Bruker Barlingbo sin helt lokale gjærstamme og humler? Ufrisk helhet, nøtter og karamell til tross.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel aroma with yeasty hints. Fruity malty spicy caramel flavor with weak hints of dark fruit. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel finish with hints of dark fruit.

Bottle. Pours clear brown, with a finger thick creamy head. Aroma is nice roasted malts with grain, as well as chocolate and herbal bready notes. Light to medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet roasted malts with grain and chocolate, as well as herbal aniseed, kandi and coffee notes. Very balanced and drinkable.

Deep dark color with a some subtle red notes. Nice off white head that leaves a fine lacing on the glass. Bready, herbal and mild roasted aroma. Ok body. Nice balance between bitterness and sweetness. Average to soft carbonation. Bready, mild roasted, herbal and some chocolate. Nice and fine brown ale.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is spices, mild almost tomatosauce like notes, some bready notes as well as mild earthiness. Flavour is earthy, some mild toasted malts, a bit old coffee as well as ashy notes.

330ml Bottle - Very dark brown with a foamy head. Brown sugar, roasted malt and dried fruit in the aroma. Fruity, roasted and slightly nutty taste with brown sugar, caramel and some slightly unusual notes that are hard to describe.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy dark brown, small head. Chocolaty nose with some spice. Mid dry with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate, notes of ash and treacle. Light spicy bitterness with faint notes of blood. Likable brown ale.
