Imperial Stout brewed to form part of the Red Willow barrel aging programme, this is the non aged version and is only available in very limited quantities. Rich dark coffee with a hint of smoke and a luxuriously smooth mouth feel.

[9/23/15] Draught at Craft & Draft in Amsterdam. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate and peanuts. Sweet flavor, roasty, with chocolate, some nuts, and a drier finish with a bit of alcohol. Medium to full-bodied.

33cl Bottle from Vonk. Black colour, creamy beige - brown head. Aroma of Belgian chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, light hoppy, sweet and luscious. Flavour is likewise, lots of Belgian chocolate and hard-roasted malts, hoppy and light leafy bitter finish. Full bodied, smooth, easy drinking. Good.

Tap.lovely fine, low tan hed on black. Big cocoa andnchocoalte, lotsmof soy-like umami, cream, low coffee and roast. Sweet coc oa, lightly roasty, more bitterness from hops, lots of oyster umami. Quite nice stuff.

Bottle shared at the De Molen monthly tasting. Pours near black with a small tan head. Aroma of roast, chocolate, coffee, toffee, a little dark fruit, raisins, light leather and caramel. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared. Black with bubbly beige head. Lots of chocolate, light smoke, strawberry, light red berries, vanilla, cognac, pistachio icecream. Sweet with light roasted bitter finish. Full bodied with soft carbonation and quite some alcohol. Very nice imperial stout, though a bit boozy.
