Creamy off white head on an unclear vivid amber coloured body.
Orange, digestive biscuits & stone fruit aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy dry & clean.
Bitter orange, lemon, earthy, pine bubble gum tastes with a bitter finish.
Not so sure about the East Coast style on the label but a fine tasty brew.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, online. Pours a clear amber with big white head but unlike some 8 Sail bottled beers this does settle nicely with plenty of lacing. Aroma is floral, citrus zest, grains and grass. Taste of sweet malts, quite floral and biscuit noted with orange and lime zest, minerals, grassy, zesty and dry bitterness in the finish. Quite nice.

500ml bottle bought at The Real Ale Store in Newark. Clingy lacing, clear amber body, rocky white head. Malt-fruity aromas, inviting. Balanced taste profile of grass, ripe fruit, bread, and mild caramel malts. Smooth bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Tasty. Shared with Finn on a train to Grimsby. (15.10.2022).

Delt med Rune på tog mellom Nottingham og Grimsby. Gyldenbrun. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte & etterlater spotlacing. Aroma av krydder & frukt. Smaken tørket frukt. Tørr krydret bitter avslutning.

Bottle shared at Cafe Abseits - Bamberg. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Good stuff, some melon, ripe citrus fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Some flinty minerals in the finish, rindy bitterness, light sweetness. Decent stuff.

Gravity poured half-pint at the brewery on 24th May 2014. Amber with a white head: not as hoppy as I expected but interesting and different none the less. Hops do lead the way but this isn’t too bitter or dry, the hops blending nicely with whatever malts are used to produce a pleasant and easy drinking beer.
