Pouring a light copper with a thick white head, this full-bodied Pilsner has a floral aroma accented with notes of lavender and honey. The caramel malts that aide in its robust colour impart a slightly sweet taste that finishes clean with a crisp spicy bitterness.

On tap at The Magnet. Pours clear amber with an off-white head. Dry grass, crackers, light toastiness on the nose. Flavour has herbal grass, light caramel, lightly toasted cracker malts; hops are either stale or lacking. The yeast comes through quite strong, pretty odd for a pilsner. Carbonation is good. Not great.

On tap. Pours a reddish mahogany with light head. Malty for a Pilsner by still crisp, with notes of honey and a bit of metallic grain

Can. Amber with a small but dense white head. Biscuity aroma with some grass. Light bodied, maybe slightly creamy. Bitterness is higher than expected and any malty depth is pretty much brushed aside. Floral and spicy as well as grassy at the end. --- Beer merged from original tick of Red Pilsner on 02 Sep 2018 at 12:38 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. On tap. Pours a slightly hazy orange-red with a medium, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, bread, grass and light stone fruit. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, bread, grain and light fruit with a dry grassy, mildly bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Pretty solid, better than I expected.

Heavily carbonated body with minimal head and a very vague malt aroma. Nice sharp hoppy finish and a bit of malt. Very average.

On tap at Steel & Oak, pours a cloudy bright amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dry bready malts and a light touch of grass. Flavour is very bready malt-oriented, without much pilsner quality. It leaves a rather metallic tinge on the finish. Not very pleasant to me.

Light amber color, hazy, with creamy head. It has a strong cereals character, husks, light vegetable bitterness, and not the grassy presence of the first time I tried it.

Hazy amber color with compact head. Delicate aroma of malt and cereals. Nice clean cereally malt flavor, with an accent of straws; correct bitterness with a light grassy touch. The final is a bit dry, astringent and just too bitter.
Solid. Will get back to this one.
