Almost black with thin beige head. Berries, cherry, roasted malts, ash, burnt toast, lots of citrusy and slightly piny hops. Light sweet fades quick into medium strong bitterness. Medium bodied, very slick feel. Nice stuff, but could use more body.

Draught @ t Arendsnest. Opaque pitch black color, full sized thick creamy tan head that lasts forever and leaves superb lacing. Aroma of malts, roastyness and hops. Taste malts, roasted malts, hops, bitter, lightly coffee. Nice bitter finish, medium body, medium carbonation.

Tap at the Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Poured a deep mahogany with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is grassy hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a watery grass nettle hop liqourice bitter palate and a lingering bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

On tap @ Arendsnest. Color is as good as black. Seems cloudy (hard to tell). Light beige head. Aroma’s of resinous hop, skunky, some acidity, some roast. Flavor is roasted, moderate bitter, just very lightly sweet, light acidity. Body is light to medium. Finishes ashy, roasted, with a resinous burp and moderate bitter flavor. Nice try, but needs more balance.
