Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear mellow yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma combines earthy/dank grass and grains with a bit of straw underlying. Flavor has grass, light dankness with some slightly sweet straw backing.

375ml can into pint glass. Nose of grass, earth, pepper. Pale amber beer with lots of tiny bubbles and a foamy white crown on top. Patchy lacing. Slightly effervescent, light body with an earthy dank finish. Late on some drying bitter lemon notes appear. Nice beer, not as grainy as I expected.

Can. Pale gold with an inch of white head. 3+ "Hoppy New World twist" means NZ hops - tropical fruit, grass, some woody herbs. Clean firm pale malt with a tiny hint of biscuit. Not as lean as some Kiwi examples but dry enough at the end. Could have used a little more bitterness. But a solid pils.
