Sampled @ PWBF Gouda 2014. Opaque black color, small light brown head. Smell and taste malts, lightly grainy, lightly bitter but a touch of sourishness. Meh. Average to medium body and carbonation.

Bottle sample at PWBF’14. Different recipe, not sure about the style though. Could be a porter as well. Anyway, deep dark brown to black colour, beige head. Aroma of liquorice, roasted malts, grain, some dark fruits, hint of tobacco. Flavour is malty, light fruity, roasted malts, cocoa, liquorice, tobacco, roasted bitter finish, hint of spices. Medium-bodied at best, a little over-carbonated. Reminded me a bit of Ancher OSA. Nice, but I prefer some of the previous versions.
