@ Winterbierfestival Gouda: Dark brown with medium beige head. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, dried prunes, balanced by light fruity notes. Medium bodied, slightly creamy feel but also quite dry. Medium carbonation.

Draft at Gouda Winterbier festival. Pours hazy brown with a tan head. Aroma of caramel, raisins, dark fruit and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at PWBF ’14. At ABV 8.5%. Certainly not a stout. Dark brown colour, light-beige head. Aroma is malty, bitter dusty cocoa, very much like a strong dunkel. Flavor is malty, some roast, cocoa, hint of mocha, light spicy, dry malty powdery bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Sampled @ PWBF Gouda 2014. Hazy red-brown color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, bitter, dark malts, some earth. Medium body and carbonation. Decent beer.

Creamy black beer. Strong notes of coffee and a slight sourness. Some vanilla as well. Very nice.
