Bottle at the Gouda Winterbier fest, 2014. Poured a cloudy dark amber with a thin light tan head. The aroma is light fruit, yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a yeast zesty malt woody alcohol palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled @ PWBF Gouda 2014. Red brown color, small to medium sized beige head. Smells like a sour / wild ale. Probably unintended, so I guess it’s infected. Tastes about the same: malts, sourish, infected. Average body and carbonation.

Winterbier 2012 version from bottle, shared by ansjelaah. Hazy bordeaux colour with a not lasting head. Smells malts, red fruits, fresh. Tastes wood, red fruits, slightly sour, some chocolate bitterness and a bit like red wine. Thin to medium body (slightly too thin if you ask me), soft carbo.

From tap at the brewpub winter 2012. Pours hazy dark brown with a thick, creamy and tan head. Aroma is baking yeasty and overripe fruity. Mild citric, somewhat yeasty, overripe fruity, plums and raisins. Quite bitter, dry and dark malty finish.
