Certainly unconventional! Pours hazy deep gold, with frothy off white head and an aroma of caramel, strawberries & cream and a hint of vanilla. The mouthfeel is creamy, the taste is heavy on the slightly salted caramel, with some fruity notes, and an underlying light biscuit malt with a tiny hint of citrus hops giving off some bitterness in the finish

Can from Beer 52. Has a distinctly salty aroma, but with added strawberries and vcream. Pours an almost murky brownish orange with a small off-white head. Salted peanuts dominate in the mouth, but there’s quite a bit else there too. Vanilla, marmalade, and hints of toffee. Finish is both salty and fruity. Rather strange but not unattractive in its own way. Lack of citrus is a plus point !

[375ml can from Beer52] A cloudy amber pour with a loose cream coloured head; aroma of butterscotch and vanilla fudge; and tasting like vanilla fudge too; and with lots of salt to finish. A strange idea for a beer, but also strangely likeable.

Tight foamy head left a rocky cover on a murky dark amber coloured still body. Confectionery aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a tingle on the back. Vanilla, Drumstick Lolly sweets, ice cream, lactose & caramel tastes. Not particularly offensive but this is some weird shit.

29/1/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours murky dull pale orange brown with a small frothy white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, salted caramel, vanilla milkshake. Medium plus sweetness and low bitterness. Medium body, smooth texture, soft carbonation. Sweet, slightly muddled, but quite drinkable.

can from Beer52.
Thick creamy off white head. Cloudy light amber pour. Some caramel, not very bitter. Not sure I'd call it an IPA. Pretty nice though

I'm struggling to get a handle on this one. The aroma has more salt than caramel, and I get some strawberry plus lemon sherbet. The caramel features pretty well in the mouth, with a mild grapefruit and orangepeel finish and a very, very bubbly mouthfeel. Lots going on, but I feel like it doesn't quite come together.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 20/01/21. Murky orange amber with a good sized light eggshell white head. Nose is orange creme, dusty citric shreds, vanilla, caramel essence. Taste comprises sweet malts, creamy orange tones, light salty caramel, lactic tang, vanilla essence. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with light hop bitterness. Does what it says on the tin fairly well but not my kind of bier ... fine for the sub genre.
