(Can) Pours very dark brown with small tan head. Nice aroma. Pine, citrus and some woody notes. Medium body with plenty of bright carbonation giving a great mouthfeel. Very tasty too. Plenty of hops. There’s some nice bright citrus notes and a good bitter finish. There’s a bit of dark chocolate / burnt toffee notes. Very good.

Can from Mates, Mordialloc. Pours deep brown with beige foam. Aroma: toasty malts, bread, pine. Taste: light to moderate sweet and bitter, follows the aroma. Nicely balanced meld of roast & hops. Towards medium body with soft carbonation.

Subdued aromas of toast, cookie dough and lemon. Some caramel in the mouth as well. It's nice but lacks guts.

Bottle. Very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of mild roast, kumquats, nectarines, pine. Medium bodied. Some chocolate and bready sweetness before fruit and a fair bit of resinous bitterness at the end. A little licorice. Nice but somewhat dissonant.
