Pours amber, small head.Nose shows toffee, caramel, cardboard notes, oxidised notes, spicy hops.Flavours include more caramel, toffee, soft spicy hops, light grassy notes, a bit of cardboard and an earthy bitter finish.

Bottle. Deep gold with a white head that never quite disappears.3+ Aroma of oranges, spices, dough. Moderately sweet with lots of oranges and light spices, some grainy notes. Dries out with a bit of booze and fairly high bitterness. A little crude but pleasant enough, particularly if you think Belgian IPA more or less means tripel. --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA on 12 Aug 2018 at 13:12 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5.
