Can from Half Time. Clear yellowish pour, lasting sheet of white head and some solid lacework. Nice grassy and citrus aroma. Cracker and a little dough. Bit of melon. Clean, light, crisp, and dry. Quite nice mouthfeel. Really drinkable beer.

Can at home. It pours a yellow gold color with a small white head. The aroma is bready and soft with light melon and orange notes. The flavor is citric with hints of orange and plastic. Strong earthy bitterness with some melon rind in the finish. The light plastic notes threw this one off for me.

Pint at Growler Guys. Aroma is a little faint but there’s a little grassy hop bitterness. Pours slightly hazy golden with a thick long retaining off white head. Taste is lightly bitter with lots of citrusy hop flavor. Great pills.

Can. Hazy straw coloured with a large and dense white head that lasts well. Aroma of lemon pudding, tropical bubblegum, sweet dough, a hint of butterscotch - OK, but I’m not thinking pilsner. Pleasantly soft texture with moderate carbonation. Fruity with vaguely biscuity malt, bitterness is on the low side and there’s no real finish - it’s only moderately sweet but there’s no clean malt, no lean towards dry. Not unpleasant but it’s not remotely like a pilsner. Irritating.

Sample at GABF 10/08/2016, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Hazy yellow color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lace. Grassy hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, fruit and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 ounce can into lager glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, grapefruit, orange, pear, pineapple, melon, citrus zest, light pepper, light honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops and light-moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, grapefruit, orange, pear, pineapple, melon, citrus zest, light pepper, light honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, grapefruit, orange, pear, pineapple, melon, citrus peel, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance, complexity, and solid robustness of citrus/fruity hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and slight lingering hop astringency near the end of the glass. Moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Very clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky, and lightly grainy/resinous mouthfeel that is good. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a good Americanized German pilsner. All around good balance, complexity, and solid robustness of citrus/fruity hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp to drink. Feels a bit watered down with less malt flavor than I expected; but has a nice hop profile that isn’t overdone or too bitter. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Draft at BitterCreek. Very pale golden, scant head, but tons of lacing. Piney, hoppy aroma, but light bodied taste with nice crisp finish. Beautiful pils edging on APA territory.

On Tap hazy pale light dingy yellow. Thin but lasting white head and lacing. Classic very light pale mat with a little corn/cereal notes. A bit hoppy and biter for the style, but it is "craft" after all. A littel lemon and citrus at the end.

12 oz can purchased in Oregon, then brought back home.to California to be enjoyed. Rating celebrating Bengals touchdown #4 of the season. Clear and bright golden pour with a thick cream foam head that lasts. Genuine fruit hop aroma that battles the straw grain. Flavor is super creamy and even more so refreshing. Rich and flavor filling pilsner malts, and a memorable hop content. These guys can’t even miss on a pils. Damn. How do they do it. Extremely impressed. Heard the brewpub is opening soon. Can’t wait guys!
