Draught @ Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel, Sydney, Australia. Pours golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, little bread, light fruit. Flavor is rather weak, malt, bread, grass, fruit. Thin body, average carbonation. 110317

Pint on tap at Brewhouse, Bankstown. Slight passionfruit/lemon nose, some malt. Cloudy orange/amber beer with thin white head. Zingy sparkly mouthfeel. Finish is ’Fruit Tingles’ and cleansing hop bitterness. Quality quaffer. Definitely better as it warms.

(Bottle) Pours clear pale coppery brown with almost no head. Subtle mostly pleasant aroma of biscuit, fruit and slight cardboard hint. Light body, with plenty of rather coarse carbonation giving a somewhat fizzy mouthfeel. Nice taste - toffee and tangy bitter orange, with some earthy bitter notes developing in the finish. Very nice, especially for a Golden/Blond.

Bottle. Gold with a white head that’s soon a coat. Aroma of lime, Seville oranges, hay, a touch of biscuit. Sweet with solid pale malt, marmalade like citrus and an earthy/ spicy note that for me is just a little overdone. Firm bitterness. Hearty stuff. And obdurate.
