Pours black with a small tan head.Nose shows sweet bready malt and caramel, subtle coffee and some earthy chocolate notes. Very sweet-smelling.Sweet flavours too, some roasted malt and a bit of cofee, little else.

Bottle, as Black Sheep Coffee and Oatmeal Brunch Stout. Black with a tan head that settles to a fat coat. Aroma of mild roast, mocha, brioche. Medium bodied. Smooth but not rich. As much chocolate as coffee really. Roasted flavours (barley more than malt) and a bit of spiced bitterness grip a little more towards the end. Another highly agreeable stout from Dainton.

On tap at Alehouse Project for Dark Side IV Festival. Classic oatmeal stout with roasted burnt notes on nose and in mouth. Nice thick mouthfeel. Coffee is subtle.
