Can from brewery. Black. Very roasty and toasty on nose and in mouth. Dry as a desert and a little thinner than I like.

Aromas of toast, caramel, smoke, licorice, white chocolate and peat make for a really nice assault on the nose. The licorice and toast mix with some lemony hops in the mouth. It finishes a bit short and lacks body, making it probably better suited to drinking at cooler temperatures on a warmer day (mine is lukewarm).

Dark brown with a coat of tan head 3. Aroma of caramel, roasted barley, chicory, chocolate. 6+ Light side of medium bodies. Not very sweet but quite roasty with a fair whack of weedy/ grassy bitterness. Singed caramel, slightly acrid coffee. Tasty and drinkable.
