Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7
Tap. Golden amber with a white head that fades to the rim fairly fast. Aroma is mysteriously fruity and slightly funky with some hard spices. Intriguing. A tastes suggests rhubarb and/or wild berries, ginger, star anise, juniper? Sweet, a little astringent, spicy, funky. Thought it was a bit too sweet at first, but the spices creep up and might have got a bit woody were it drier. Interesting.
