Apparently, Adam was pretty disappointed when the serpent offered him an apple. And we don’t blame him. This Forbidden Fruit is dark red, softly sweet, caressing and full in the mouth. It is brewed with roasted malt and hops, giving it a typical herbal plant aroma. By the way, it’s not forbidden to have a taste.

Dark amber colour, with white/beige head, thick and incredibly big! The smell is nothing special, not at all, almost any particular note, apart some malts and a strange dusty smell. The taste instead is much better, even if too sweet for my taste. Red fruits, candy sugar and maybe coriander. A bit syrupy. Ok.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Mitra.nl. Hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Yeasty fruity aroma. Nice bittersweet taste. This was one of my favorites when I was in my late teens and after all those years, I’m 35 now, it continues to impress me. Great beer

33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 27.02.2010
Started to come out of the bottle immediately, I could save only two thirds of the contents into glasses. Aroma is sweet with ripe fruits, syrupy and sugary notes. Flavour is somewhat malty and sweet with ripe fruits, raisins, brown sugar and syrup. Too sweet, this truly was a forbidden fruit.
