BOTTLE 33 CL. Clear dark chestnut brown, creamy head. Dark bread and roasted grains nose, without any sweetness. Taste: simple brown sugar sweetness, dusty papery grains, pungent bitterness. No coffee, chocolate or anything else stouty for that matter - more like a mediocre dunkel on steroids.

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for sharing! Smooth malty beginning. Sticky sweetish, a bit bitter in the aftertaste. Round and fresh, smooth, a bit too sweetish with dark round malt.

Bottle. Black with a small light tan head. Aroma of syrupy chocolate, licorice, some toasted malt. A bit worty? Medium bodied, carbonation is on the lowish side. Sweet and a bit empty in the middle, with caramel and licorice before bitterness that’s on the low side of moderate. Some dried banana. Faintly metallic at the end. OK.
