Bottle, 14C. Dark red with a beige coat of a head that hangs around. Aroma of apples, grapes, sticky bread crusts, bracken, earth - a bit of a farm on a steaming morning feel to it. Alive. One the best smelling beers I’ve had. Medium bodied with just a hint of slipperiness. Quite sour with some cherry vinegar as well as some soft lactic funk - apples, cola, berries, twigs. This one does have a slight breath of Cognac at the end. Deep with lovely balance. At first thought it was a slight let down after the aroma, but really grew on me. Hell of a beer. [4.2]Last bottle I guess. A little less sour? Great beer with an amazing aroma.

Pours vibrantly clear brown with a large off-white head.Nos shows soft funk, lots of rich caramel, fudge and raisins.Sweet flavours too, more caramel, some prune notes and a very soft acidity with a bit of funk.
