Bottle. Slightly hazy pale gold with a white head that lasts quite well. Aroma of elderflowers, oranges, dough, hay, vanilla, cloves. A little sweet and never really dries out. Lots of elderflower, a little bit vegetal (I think that comes with the elderflowers, and I don’t mind it much). Wintery oranges, dough, hay, a little funk. Nice enough, but wanted a bit of bitterness and a drier finish. Grew on me a bit as I nibbled things with it - the Chevalier series seems to be subtler and more geared towards food than other Bridge Road beers.
