Dark beer, almost black with creamy and brown foam. Rich and powerful beer with a very long after-taste. Very complex and still soft aroma. The high level of alcohol is very subtlety hidden. It is prepared with strongly roasted malt which gives its very special taste.

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een helder donkerbruin bier met een rode gloed. Het heeft een geur van gedroogd fruit. De smaak is caramelachtig, gedroogd fruit, pruim?

Draught @ Gasthof Euverem. Clear dark brown color. Light beige head. Aroma's of dark sugar, red fruit, dark malts. Flavor isn't even too sweet, with dark, somewhat roasted malt. Medium bodied. Finishes with dark malt, some roast, light medium bitter. Pleasant enough.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma beige media grana media persistenza, color marrone intenso, al naso malto lieviti belgi spezie uvetta sotto spirito, in bocca caramello uvetta sotto spirito biscotto e zucchero di canna, carbonatazione decisa, corpo strutturato, nonostante i 10,5% l'alcool è ben bilanciato, dolce con amaro moderato. E' un piacere berla. Ottima 16.12.17

At a tasting, thanks, smallish bubbly head, murky dark brown color, aroma of cake with a whiff of alcohol, dark bread and stale notes, flavor of yeast, vanila ,glue, oxidised, minerals and caramel. Not good, probably old.

Bottle. Dark brown, creamy foam. Aroma: malt, caramel, dried fruits, yeast, toffee, pleasant. Taste: wine, toffee, caramel, dried fruits, sweetness, port, yeast, very good.
