Fresh pine and citrus hop aroma can be expected thanks to a blend of our favourite Australian and American hops. We took a classic English style IPA and made it stronger and bolder "American Style" by beefing up the malt bill and just adding some more hops to it.

On tap at Modus Operandi, pours a hazy copper orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank hops, with citrus juiciness and almost a pot-like quality. Flavour is pure pot, with lots of dank herbal hops, a juicy quality and wet biscuity malt. Dank and pot-like as fuck. Excellent.

Schooner on tap @ Pumphouse. Crazy fruit salad nose, it’s all going on! Even a bit of malt. Clear bronze beer, bit of scum on top, heavy carbonation. Taste is nettles and pine needles. Finish brings on more bitterness then pineapple and caramel. Superb but intense.

On tap at Local Taphouse, St.Kilda: Really impressive interpretation of style. Strong resiny aroma. More full bodied than expected. Excellent balance in terms of hop profile. Hides its alcohol punch very effectively.

Crowler thanks to fletchfighters. Clear copper with a loosish head that settles to a white inch that lasts OK and leaves streaks of lace. Aroma of pine, bread crusts, citrus blossoms, pepper. Oily, resinous. Bread malt, grapefruit and kumquat marmalade, pine. Some peachy and mango skin notes. Bitterness builds towards the finish. A bit peppery there too. Rather than having a zesty top note, the hops ooze out of the malt side of things - I guess that makes it a bit "English-style". Right up my street.
