Draught - hazy gold medium head. Wheat yeast etc. Pretty good and quite drinkable IMO.

Location: Draft at Ginger Man NYC, 11/24/13

Aroma: The nose has some fruit, plenty of spice, bread/yeast, and wheat
Appearance: This one pours a hazy golden color with a small, lasting off-white head on it
Flavor: The taste is much the same, with some nice balance and plenty of spice
Palate: The body is medium-plus, somewhat heavy and a little sticky, but remains approachable
Overall Impression: I thought this was a really solid one for sure. There's a lot going on here, and it is a bit of a sipper, but it is certainly not overly heavy. Tasty stuff.

Growler. Gold with a large white head. Aroma of dough, cloves, bananas, vanilla, white pepper, oranges. Sweetness - oranges, candi sugar, dough - gradually giving way to sharper citrus flavours tangy wheat, spices, gentle bitterness. Plenty of yeasty things going on but remains quite nimble on the palate. Complex, restrained, refined.

I didn’t expect the clear, pale straw colour, nor the crazy fizzing head which disappeared within seconds. The aroma includes banana, alcohol, spices, raisin and tropical fruit. The palate is more basic, mainly consisting of spice and alcohol. I didn’t love it but that might be as much because it’s not my preferred genre of beer. Squealer from Prince Wine Store Essendon.

Pint pour at Mugs. Looks very hazy and thick glowing golden with little clarity. Aroma first starts with spiky esters which are very earthy and herbal lemon-esquw. Maybe its mixing with coriander, or it is coriander or the esters are mimicking coriander, not sure. Though I understand if people interpreted as solvent-like but I enjoyed it. Taste is some banana esters and again some coriander. This is accompanied by a thicker body with a good strong carbonation. I was surprised by this beer, a light yeast doughiness is present throughout. Basically, a tart, twangy, sweet, Belgian mix.

Tap at Mug’s Ale House - turbid gold beer, with a lasting head - this beer had a really nice mix of subdued honey sweetness, tart/tangy orange peel and wheat, coriander, and earthy yeast character - a little bit of banana and tropical fruits - ends with strong tartness, bordering on sourness, with lingering orange peel and lemon character - quite refreshing for the abv - residual honey sweetness once the tartness leaves the palate, though - a nice bsa.

Sampled on draft at Zeno’s in State College PA this beer poured a dark golden color with a small yellow-white head that faded quickly. The aroma was tangy, lightly sweet and lightly yeasty. The flavor was rather faint but had elements of tangy malts, yeastiness and a touch of light fruits and cane sugar. The finish was short and sweetish. Overall bland and uninspired.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy golden, creamy head. Almondy fruity nose. Soft and caramelly. Medium sweet with gentle, rounded mouthfeel. Delicious seemless flavour of custard, estery bubblegum and marzipan. Mildly warming.

Draft at Max’s Taphouse, Baltimore. This is a top notch example of an American Belgian Ale in my opinion. Yellow golden straw color, slightly transparent. Big and lively head. Huge sweet Belgian candi-sugar aroma. The taste is awesome, big yeasty characteristics among the sweetness. Perfect mouthfeel. Well Done.

Got to try this on tap, served in a tulip glass at RFD in Washington D.C. Pours a hazy, translucent, rosy orange amber with a thin, ringing white head and plenty of tight, carbonation. Very pleasant aroma, of ripe fruits, some tropical fruits, flowers and perfume, that quintessential Belgian candy aroma and Belgian yeast. The sweetness of the Belgian candy dominates much of the flavor with plenty of banana, tropical fruits like pineapple, some wheat germ, a touch of citrus, honey, a little pepper and plenty of Belgian yeast. Fizzy on the tongue makes for a unique mouthfeel that adds to the drinking experience. I usually don’t like Grand Crus, but I enjoyed this a lot and would recommend it to others, even those not familar with craft beers.
