Sampled from the tap at Hopscotch. Pours a clear brown with an amber hue and a light brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice coffee note supported by raisin, bread and some dark grains. Flavor combines bread and coffee with some raisin and dark grain backing.

From a can on 23/9/2018 (can't identify the size, ABV listed as 6.5%, not 7%, no reference to coffee on the can, shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a deep clear amber with a biggish head. The nose is chocolatey and pleasant. Tastes of sweet chocolate and caramel and vanilla, with some pretty firm hops at the back. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A bit dessert like, and easy to drink, but still has a bit of punch. Very good (which is generally par for the course with Mornington).

Dark brown w a thin head. Aroma is mellow coffee, a good Melbournian roast, integrated W toast, choc...reminds me of a Coffee Crisp (Canadian chocolate bar), actually. Taste is smooth -nice body- with gentle toasty character. Well integrated coffee.

Growler. Very dark brown with a beige head that hangs around with nice lacing. Muted aroma of coffee, dark sugars, some chocolate. Hearty. Taste has lots of coffee mingled with chocolate and some roasted flavours, hints of berries - maybe that’s the coffee too. Firm bitterness is grassy with some pine and light sweet shop spices. Tasty. Appreciated the balance of this as it warmed above 12C.
