Pours ruby with a large head.Nose shows some nutty and toasty sweet malt along with a little caramel. Very ESB-like. Some earthy hops.Flavours follow along the same lines, focusing on the rich toasty and bready malt with a little earthy and tea-like hops in the background.Carbonation is a little full on.

From a 500ml bottle on 21/8/2013. Pours a clear light amber with a small head. Has a slight aroma of caramel malt and a touch of fruit. The flavour is a little on the dull side, with the primary feature being caramel and toffee malt and a hint of citrus fruit. The bitterness is relatively subdued for an IPA. Has a medium body and fairly lively carbonation. All up, this is easy enough to drink but it’s a pretty bland effort by IPA standards.

Bottle. Clear copper with a white head. Grassy aroma with caramel, pears and some light tropical fruits. Oily, moderate carbonation. Rather sweet with lots of caramel, some peach and lychee, pepper. Moderate bitterness that struggles to break clear at the finish. A bit dull and really needed a drier finish for me.
