Color caoba, con destellos cobrizos. Espuma blanca y compacta, de buena retención. Carbonatación media-baja y de brbuja fina. Textura acuosa pero agradable.
Aromas muy suaves, a malta tostada, pan y un notas a lúpulo. En boca bien equilibrada, sin ningún sabor que destaque. Maltosa con notas frutales y toque de caramelo.

33cl bottle at Downing College, Cambridge, UK. Pours a nice average, transparent, with abundant white foam, fine. Aroma is malty and caramel. Body of average with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet. Finish is fairly sweet.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - deep amber to copper. Nose - caramel and brown bread. Ginger bread. Taste - more spiced bread. Fudge. Palate - rich and medium bodied at least. Would like a bit more bitterness on the finish. Overall - decent ESB.

Pours a ruddy iced tea color from a tap. Smells sort of like cool weak tea as well, but the flavor is more like weak coffee, or like water run through a coffee maker with no grinds in it, just a hint of the baked on shmeg inside the machine. Not good.
