50cl bottle pours with a clear copper body with thin gold edges and supporting a thin white head. The aroma has a sliver of mango heading quickly into firm pine and then a bit of lime and toasted biscuit. The taste starts with pine sap bitter hoppiness and sliding into sweet malts to slightly biscuit like malts. In between the malts and firm pine hops are grapefruit and orange peel citrus as well as a light touch of floral hops. Pretty darn nice IPA.

Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours clear copper with a frothy white head. Aroma of mildly roast malt with burnt rubber. Med body. Flavor is mildly roast malt with burnt rubber/citrus. Never thought those were similar, but live and learn. It’s finishing hoppy and quite, well , hoppy. If you are a hop addict, this should be good for you. So how is burnt rubber good? Heck if I know, but it’s working for me.

Light amber, aroma is med and vaguely fruity, a fair bit of bitterness. Not all that bright, mind you.

Bottle. Pours with a crystal clear orange hued body with a medium sized off white head. Aromas are of crystal malt, caramel, melon, pine, soil, resin and tropical fruit. Low ester. A bit too much of a crystal malt aroma for my tastes in IPAs. Grassy. Flavors are quite bitter, grassy, low hop character, fruity, some minerals. Medium malt presence (less than the aroma), clean yeast wise. Bitter balance. Lively carbonation, medium bodied. Slightly underwhelmed, I was expecting slightly more from them.

Very lovely fragrant nose with caramel background. Cotton candy, candy apples with a touch of citrus. Really nice. Med full body, very well balanced, moderate bitter finish. Really nice nose and the beer is very drinkable. Excellent Pale Ale.

Bottle, 10C. Remarkably bright clear orangish amber with an off white head that fades to a coat. Hoppy aroma of kumquats, gooseberries, earthy spices, caramel. Sweet caramel, orange and peach, some tropical fruit - guava, passionfruit - , firm bitterness. Spicy with an unusual pepper/ juniper note. Citrus flavours are less prominent than the first sniff suggests. Cheerful and typically vibrant Epic beer.
