Amber-red and quite unfiltered. Medium head. Biscuity amber malts. Mellow sweetness, light bitterness. Has a pretty good balance to it.

Pours amber with a fading head.Nose shows nutty malt and bready notes. Subtle but enticing.Flavours include more nutty malt, cardboard hints and a soft bitterness in the finish.Carbonation seems overly aggressive.

From a 500ml on 2/10/2013. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a massive thick head. Has a strange aroma of basementy yeast and chemicals. The flavour is much better, with some pronounced biscuity malt and quite a bit of fruit (particularly citrus). It finishes with quite a firm, tart bitterness. The body is medium and the carbonation too high. This is a real mixed bag. On the plus side, it’s incredibly full flavoured for something that’s just 3.6%. But there are aspects which take away from the enjoyment, such as weird nose and excessive carbonation.

Bottle, 9C. Amber with a white head. Earthy aroma with toffee, hazelnuts and light spices. Lightish body is a long way from watery. Taste has slight sweetness - a little chocolate, burnt toffee - and then straight on to the dry spicy finish. Good dust cutter that’s well put together.
