And this time it is all about the beer, and the beer is awesome! Gone are the 200+ IBUs which brought grown men to tears! Our new Nanny State is 0.5% ABV and focuses on being a great drink as opposed to a great publicity ploy. This beer is now focussed on getting all that is good about BrewDog into a practically alcohol free format. It is a West Coast inspired pale ale with a difference! The beer has 45 IBUS and is brewed with centennial, amarillo, columbus, cascade and simcoe and intensively dry-hopped with centennial and amarillo. The backbone is provided by 8 different types of speciality malts with only 87 kilos of malt used in a 20HL batch (our Punk IPA uses 450 kilos in 20HL).

Klar. Mørk brun med beigeskum som blir liggende. Lukter karamellmalt og plomme. Tam og vannete. Mye maltsmak. Ser god ut og lukter godt. Men skuffende smak og munnfølelse.

Very decent for an (almost) alcohol-free: brown pour with a small head; aromas and tases of malt, grains, caramel, hint of red/dark fruit

Flasa. Slabsia chmelova karamelova vona. Karamelova farba a pena co chvilu drzi. Chut vodova mierne horkasta a sladka.

Tap at Brewdog Stirling, UK. Pours brown, clear, with very fine cream foam. Aroma is herbal and slightly malty. Body is average, with limited carbonation. Taste is dry bitter. Final is average.

Sour orange juice, weedy grass, malt, and orange peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small white head. Minimally sweet orange, malt, and mildly bitter orange peel and weedy grass flavor. Okay body.

12 oz can poured, ordered from BrewDog USA. A darker copper pour, moderate, fading foam head. Aroma is a mix of citrus like hops and bready malts. A pretty big aroma compared to other NA brews in my experience. A much more mild flavor, some biscuit like malts. Bold, lingering, almost spicy malt finish. For of an amber or even a brown in my opinion, but a solid NA brew either way. Enjoyed this.
