And this time it is all about the beer, and the beer is awesome! Gone are the 200+ IBUs which brought grown men to tears! Our new Nanny State is 0.5% ABV and focuses on being a great drink as opposed to a great publicity ploy. This beer is now focussed on getting all that is good about BrewDog into a practically alcohol free format. It is a West Coast inspired pale ale with a difference! The beer has 45 IBUS and is brewed with centennial, amarillo, columbus, cascade and simcoe and intensively dry-hopped with centennial and amarillo. The backbone is provided by 8 different types of speciality malts with only 87 kilos of malt used in a 20HL batch (our Punk IPA uses 450 kilos in 20HL).

Fles 33cl thuis. Malten, bitter, red ale neiging, rood fruit, hoppig, rogge, citrus, grapefruit, mango. Alcohol merkbaar afwezig. Niet verkeerd. (12-3-2021).

Flasche bei Craftbeer-Shop bestellt. Farbe dunkles klares rot braun. 1 cm dicker Schaum, leicht beige. Aroma: Fruchtig, Erdbeere, ein bisschen Maracuja, Grapefruit. Geschmack: etwas wässrig im Ansatz.. Muffig. Etwas Spülmittel. Malz. Karamell. Ansatz von Bitterkeit.

Bottle. Light amber pour. Aroma of grapefruit, creamy orange, caramel, citrus and malt. Taste has creamy grapefruit, bitter orange, citrus, malt and some pine. Good bitter beer, there's still an underlying emptiness that betrays it's lack of alcohol, but this comes really close.

Smell- weak malt, weak roast. Foam- thin, roast, faint acidic notes, bitterness, and sourness. Head is white with a slight brown tint. Appearance -brewer bottle cap, simple label. Clear orange, brown color, weak carbonation. From- snifter Taste -weak malt, roast, sourness and acidic mess, overly bitter aftertaste mixed with faint non-alco notes. Bad.
