Pours ruby/copper with a small fading head.Smells like a percolator after use, rather than actually roasted coffee beans themselves. Not too bad though. Underneath is faint raspberries. The used coffee grounds note transfers through as a flavours, whilst the raspberry remains in the background. Leaves an acidic and metallic note from the coffee though.Could use a lot more carbonation.Too bad the coffee character seems anything but fresh.

Bottle. Clear pinkish amber with a wisp of an off-white head that retreats to the rim and then stays. Aroma of raspberries, very heavily roasted coffee, caramel. Taste has lots of coffee, hairy raspberries, caramel and a little dark chocolate in the background. Bitter coffee at the end along with some herbal notes. Very low carbonation, but I’m only guessing that more would be better. Entirely beer-like, but also quite like a dessert that used to be served at the Latin where they sprinkled ground coffee over ice-cream and poured grappa over the top. Strange.
