Growler. Clear amber with a fluffy beige head. Low bead. Aroma of caramel, building grapefruity funk, flowers, some pine. Taste has moderate caramel sweetness, good bitterness with citrus, pine and peppery spices. Just creamy mouthfeel. Would be a bit unbalanced towards the bitter side with just the malt, but the fruity yeasty notes make it work rather well. At first it seemed to be just a hoppy amber ale with a slightly unusual yeast note, but the rustic and fruity/ spicy funk notes built up. Nice that a collaboration for a good cause has resulted in a delightful beer.
