330ml bottle (dated 2015). Pours dark dull pink with a light pink fizzy head. Aroma has that fruity yoghurt thing going on that fruit lambics do. Boysenberry up front, raspberry, cranberry, little brioche, some vinegar. Finish is all sweet red wine, with lots of berry character. Really pretty nice.

Pours garnet, with a light pink head. Tart berry, wheat aroma. Dry, tart, boysenberry flavour. Not exactly a favourite taste, but pretty well done. Smooth, tart, solid.

Bottle shared by Jim, thanks! Pours a near clear ruby red with a near white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has a good amount of bosenberry that is slightly tart and not much else. Flavor is full of boysenberry that starts sweet and finishes with a decent amount of tartness. A bit one note.

Hazy deep red beer. Good size pink head! Crispy palate, minerally freshness. Nice tart fruits - raspberry and blackberry. Trace of pale malt underneath. Crisp finish with more tart fruits. Nice!

Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe in Davis, CA. Pours dark cherry/berry red with no head. Aroma is lite berry and wheat. Near med body. It’s fruity, but it’s very wheaty. The berry comes out after a bit, and it’s dry and astringent. The wheat keeps dominating the berry, and I think it would be better the other way around. Stil, if dry is the desire, this fits.

(bottle) Poured clear ruby red with zero head. Aroma was primarily boysenberry with some perfume, vanilla and perhaps a hint of redcurrants. Medium bodied with mouthfilling, fine, but plentiful carbonation (odd given no head). Flavour has a pleasant boysenberry start which is pleasantly slightly tart which gives way to some sweetness but is followed by a rather sharp, slightly unpleasant metallic and artificial finish. Overall it s OK as it is an unusual fruit beer and not overly sweet but it has some rough edges.

Pours deep, dark mauve with a small purple head.Nose shows sour berries, sort of similar to cherries and raspberries. Has a lambic-esque character to it. Very appealing berry character.Similar flavours, sour at first before transitioning to sweet berries. Very short lasting finish, quickly fades away to nothing.Carbonation is way too high.

Bottle. Brownish red with a creamy pink head. Fresh berry aroma - smells more sweet than tart; could be blackcurrants (ie Ribena) rather than boysenberries - a little bread and lemon. Taste is much less sweet than suggested. Hard to tell whether the tartness is from the berries or both. Drying, slightly chewy finish with berry skins and some metal. The metal is a real flavour of the berries too. Too heavy on the berries for me, but it’s a classy drop. Admired it a lot more than I liked it.

Dark pink color. No head. Very pugenent, but wonderful boysenberry nose. A touch of dark chocolate in the mouth with lots of boysenberries. Spritzy. Well balanced. Enjoyable.
