Hazy and very pale. Very hoppy aroma and taste. Medium bitterness, fresh pale malts, a bit thin in the finish but a good hoppy brew.

Quite an earthy aroma of dirt and talcum powder together with some peach and a hint of citrus. It’s as pale as they come. The taste is of sweet, slightly unpleasant malt, partly masked by fairly dry, bitter hops.

Pours gold with a small head.Nose shows a fair bit of fruity hops and some faint bready malt.Very similar flavours, faint fruity hops and a lot of sweet cookie dough-like malt. Finished with a somewhat sharp bitterness.Carbonation could be higher just to dry out the finish a bit.

From a 330ml bottle on 24/1/2011. Has a mild aroma of sweet malt and grass. There’s a strong Euro malt flavour, with a light dash of citrus fruit. Finishes with a good, lingering hop kick. All up, a pretty good crack at a pilsener.

[12/10] Bright gold with an inch of very white head that fades quickly to a coat. Medium bead. Hay and hop nose: the Kiwi influence is there (passionfruit, gooseberries), but mingled with earth and meadows. Quite fruity and sweet with orange and passionfruit. Quite prominent bitterness. The new world influence is slightly greater in the taste, but not to the point of clashing - more of a twist on more traditional pilsners. Not bad, but a little too much sweetness and fruit for me. [3.2]As Beer Garden Pilsner. Yep, nice hops but still too sweet for me.
