(Can) Pours clear ruddy amber with big pale amber head. Subtle aroma of caramel and pine. Medium body, well carbonated. Taste starts with subtle caramel and tea notes and ends with some reasonable hoppy bitterness. Quite drinkable.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma has light fruitiness, hints of caramel, dash of fruity hop on the palate...prob too fruity but a nice basic ale.

This beer has a dirty aroma of chocolate, marshmallow and nuts. The palate has a similarly dirty texture and the taste is a mixture of citrus, cocoa and some yeast late on the tongue. Very pleasant.

Pours dark amber with a lasting small head.Nose is faint, but shows some banana and apples along with some floral hops.Lots of toasty nutty flavours add a new dimension with some of that banana following through. Unfortunately the malt is slightly grainy.Carbonation is too high.

Amber, large fluffy beige head. Very high bead. Mild aroma of caramel, grass and spice. Taste is mild caramel sweetness with touches of fruit with modest bitterness. There’s a slight burnt wood note and a little butter. Drying finish has more bitterness. Not going to set the world on fire, but a tasty enough session beer from the bottom of the Victorian snowfields.

From a 330ml bottle on 13/5/2010. Has a slightly unusual, almost sour smell to it. Doesn’t present as a typical amber ale. Actually has a fair bit of taste to it, and is almost a little lemony. Extremely big on the hops for this style. An interesting attempt, but it doesn’t quite come together for me.
