Bottle. Actually cloudy amber with a very effervescent character, foaming over. Earthy caramelly, a mellow hop note, and overall a respectable, if inchoate, bitter.

Bottle, pours amber with a ridiculously huge beige head. Ended up pouring out of pint glass into a monster tulip and letting it sit for a while, which tamed the carbonation a bit. Smells of toasty caramel and lots of grass and resin. Taste is quite bitter backed by firm caramel and toasted malts. Not very English at all, but I suppose it fits as an ESB. Odd, but pretty harmonious.

Malt show some caramel, but not incredibly impressive.Flavours include more caramel and toasty notes, with some grassy hops, before a somewhat-unpleasant sharp bitterness shows.Pretty high carbonation for a bitter.
