From a 640ml bottle on 27/4/2010. Smell and taste wise, this is all sweet apples. This is relatively pleasant, but could use a touch more edge (I’m no doubt influenced by just having tried a Zierholz Swill, which is one of the biggest, craziest apple beer creations one can experience).

Pours vibrant pale amber with a creamy lasting head.Nose shows some tangy apple cider, some bready malt and a bit of wheat. Not bad.Flavours include soft sweet apple, bready malt, and finishes quite dry, as a good saison should.Light body, soft carbonation that could be a little higher.Very light and refreshing, it does actually remind me of Saison Dupont, I assume they used a genuine saison yeast or something?

640ml bottle, 10C. Pours clear copper with a small and rapidly disappearing light-beige head. Aroma has yeast, apples and spices. Decent sweet/ tart balance with some depth and barnyard touches. Really rather cider-like. Finishes tart with allspice, white pepper and a hint of metal. [3.3] Bottle. BB earlier this month. Burnt orange with a small light beige head that lasts in a tulip. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. More malt sweetness and spicier than it was with mellow apples, some slight sour funk and a mildly sweet peppery finish. Has improved a bit and will make pleasant summer drinking.
