(on tap) Clear brown with good head. Nice fruity and floral aroma. Pleasant malt sweetness in start and middle with an adequate bitterness in finish. A very good beer.

I thought I’d seen the last of this 2009 release, but it seems not. Pours brown with a fleeting beige head. The floral aroma is mostly gone. There is some citrus and resin. There’s some malt to balance the lingering hops. Maybe past its best.

2009.Dark amber approaching a coppery brown. Small head fades rapidly.Sweet floral hop aroma, some clean malt with a bit of caramel and toffee. Resinous, a hint of pine. Very enjoyable but not that complex.Taste is too sweet - the hops don’t manage to keep the sweet malt in check. There’s a fair whack of resiny hop flavour, but next to no bitterness.Undercarbed in my opinion. Almost watery.
