Slightly hazy and tinted orange and copper coloured body with a thinnish, off-white head that has no trace of carbonation after a few seconds. Aroma of grass, super tropical fruits with guava, passionfruit and a heavy hand of papaya noticeable with a big hit of alcohol and cleanser, more astringent notes towards the end. Medium to even perhaps Full-bodied; A bit tricky at first with a lot of alcohol, some grain, a touch of resin, but the fruits then show soon afterwards with a lot of guava and white grapes, along with some citrus notes and a dash of pure caster sugar and honey as well. Aftertaste shows the grain and alcohol as more pervasive characteristics, but the fruits come through along with some of the grainy malts, which are relatively balanced throughout. Overall, a nice and enjoyable slightly Imperial (although it probably is for Australia's sake) IPA that shows a lot of more astringent and pungent alcohol notes, but also a lot of fruits. I sampled this 375 mL can purchased from the Australia Wine Center here on Pitt Street in Sydney (CBD), New South Wales, Australia on 12-August-2019 for AU$8,50 sampled in my hotel room here on 15-August-2019.

From a 375ml can on 3/8/2019 (ABV listed as 8.7% not 8.3%). Pours a clear deep golden with a smallish head. The nose features herbal and grassy hops. On the sip, there's a good dash of caramel malt, some indistict, muted fruity sweetness, and a fairly firm bitterness, which doesn't feature much pine, resin or grapefruit. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. Not altogether unpleasant, but quite muddled and doesn't really know what it wants to be. Kind of half arsed in terms of malt, hops, style and drinkability.

Can. Clear amber with a 3/2 inch of white head that last pretty well. Aroma of tenor register citrus, pine, bread crust. Just sort of heavy. Moderate carbonation. Pretty sweet with caramel and bread, hints ripe tropical fruit. Very clean with citrus and pine that leads away from the sweetness rather than jolts. Resin builds towards a firmly bitter finish with some pepper joining the pine. A little sweet for me but this is more than solid.
