Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8
Can. Almost clear amber, 3/2" white head. Aroma of zesty kumquat, mango, grilled pineapple, toast, lime leaf, feijoa. Medium bodied, soft. I _really_ like the way the dankness of the tropcial hop notes work with the softness here - there's no earthy/ savoury herb bite at all. The hops shine but it's not completely clean - maybe some character without much getting in the way is what kveik can do? Very tidy bitter finish. Wow, a really nice one.
