Bottle, 13C. Black. A tan head is soon less than a coat. Aroma of brioche, biscotti, mocha, blackberries, oaked red wine, bracken. A fair bit of body. Both roast and oak are much heavier on the palate than suggested by the aroma. Sweet with fudgy mocha and berries, bracken, spices. Quite bitter at the end but oak and alcohol dominate there. Enjoyable now, but a little time may mellow things.

Bottle. Very black. Almost vinous nose. The brett has won the battle with the barrels here, to produce a very different take on the old Mach 7.0. Thin and almost Flanders like. Nice way to nod to the crowd on bringing up this score of centuries.
