Smallish brown head. Just barely translucent clear deep dark red body with light carbonation. Fruity toffeeish soy sauce aroma with bubblegum, chocolate and alcohol notes. Dry-sweetish fruity toffeeish bubblegum taste with soy sauce notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, slightly hot mouthfeel. Dry herbal licorice and chocolate aftertaste with soy sauce and fruity bubblegum notes. Decent, but not very interesting. (0.5l bottle, Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.)

Bottle. It’s a clear, dark reddish brown beer with a very small head. Dried fruits like prunes and raisins on the nose, some alcohol and roasted malts as well. The alcohol barely detectable. The aroma has some bitterness and coffee hints to support the dried fruits and warming alcohol, it’s smooth, full-bodied and warming, finishing with a little too less flavor but sufficient warmth. A really nice one, but it lacks a bit on complexity. 110513

Bottle I bought at De Molen, shared with DutchDrebus. Brown color, ok smell and good taste. Also good carbo and medium to full body, alcohol not strongly present even though the beer is 10%ABV.

Love the bottle art. As soon as i saw it, i just had to try it. Very nice beer also. It’s not really unique, but it is balanced.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011 from a 0.5l bottle. Pours a dark brown body with a thin fading beige head. Sweet aroma with some licorice, dried fruits, some chocolate and it's quite hopy. Lively carbonated, has an fizzing mouthfeeling and medium-bodied. Light sweet flavors, some brown sugar and more dried fruits. Ends with a mild alcohol finish and a pepperish aftertaste.
